Die italienische Flötistin Alice Morzenti gehört zu den herausragenden Flötistinnen ihrer Generation und konzertiert weltweit als Solistin, Kammer- und Orchestermusikerin.
Nach dem Abitur am Konservatorium in Brescia mit Bestnote und summa cum laude vervollständigte sie ihre Ausbildung bei Prof. Davide Formisano im Rahmen eines Masterstudiengangs an der Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Stuttgart sowie anschließend bei Prof. Mario Caroli an der Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, die sie ebenfalls mit Bestnote und Auszeichnung abschloss.
Bereits als Jugendliche erhielt sie erste Preise bei zahlreichen Wettbewerben, darunter „I giovani per i giovani“ in Ravenna, der „Bazzini Kammermusikwettbewerb“ und der „Manenti Solistenwettbewerb“ in Brescia, der „Internationale Flötenwettbewerb“ in Ovada, „Severino Gazzelloni“ in Florenz, „Krakamp“ in Benevento, „Nuovi Orizzonti“ in Arezzo sowie der „Internationale Fiorindo Kammermusikwettbewerb“ in Turin.
Als Solistin und Kammermusikerin trat sie unter anderem bei Festivals wie „Flautissimo“ in Rom, „Flautomania“ an der Mailänder Scala, dem „Falaut Festival“, den „Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala“ in Mailand, dem „Festival di Cernobbio“ am Comer See sowie dem Flötenfestival Freiburg 2023 auf.
Bereits im Alter von achtzehn Jahren spielte sie erstmals im Orchester der Mailänder Scala und sammelte dort wertvolle Erfahrungen mit einigen der bedeutendsten Dirigenten unserer Zeit, darunter Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Georges Prêtre, Riccardo Chailly, Gustavo Dudamel, Daniel Harding, Lorin Maazel und Semyon Bychkov.
Von dort aus führte sie ihre intensive Konzerttätigkeit in bedeutende Konzertsäle wie den Wiener Musikverein, das Gasteig München, das Festspielhaus Salzburg, das KKL Luzern, die Bunka Kaikan Hall in Tokio sowie das Bolschoi-Theater in Moskau. Als Gast-Soloflötistin wirkte sie unter anderem bei der Filarmonica della Scala und dem Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala mit und arbeitete dabei mit Dirigenten wie Daniele Gatti, Valery Gergiev, David Afkham, Fabio Luisi und Myung-Whun Chung zusammen.
Darüber hinaus gastierte sie wiederholt als Soloflötistin am Teatro Regio Turin und bei der Philharmonia Zürich unter Gianandrea Noseda, an der Bayerischen Staatsoper unter Constantinos Carydis und Kirill Petrenko, im Münchner Rundfunkorchester, im Münchener Kammerorchester, am Teatro Comunale di Bologna unter Eliahu Inbal, am Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venedig sowie bei den Bamberger Symphonikern.
Sie war Lehrbeauftragte für Orchesterstudien an der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.
Seit 2013 ist Alice Morzenti Soloflötistin der Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg. Seit 2018 ist sie Lehrbeauftragte für Querflöte und Orchesterstudien an der Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg.
Von Oktober 2023 bis September 2025 hatte sie die Professur für Flöte an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Trossingen inne.
Ab Oktober 2025 hat Alice Morzenti eine Professur für Flöte an der Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg.

Italian flutist Alice Morzenti is considered one of the outstanding flutists of her generation and performs internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player.
After graduating with highest honors and summa cum laude from the Conservatory of Brescia, she continued her studies with Prof. Davide Formisano in the Master’s program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, followed by advanced studies with Prof. Mario Caroli at the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, where she also graduated with highest distinction.
As a young musician, she won first prizes at numerous competitions, including “I giovani per i giovani” in Ravenna, the “Bazzini Chamber Music Competition” and the “Manenti Soloist Competition” in Brescia, the “International Flute Competition” in Ovada, the “Severino Gazzelloni Competition” in Florence, “Krakamp” in Benevento, “Nuovi Orizzonti” in Arezzo, and the “International Fiorindo Chamber Music Competition” in Turin.
As a soloist and chamber musician, she has appeared at festivals including “Flautissimo” in Rome, “Flautomania” at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the “Falaut Festival,” “Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala” in Milan, the “Festival di Cernobbio” on Lake Como, and the Freiburg Flute Festival 2023.
At the age of eighteen, she performed for the first time with the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where she gained valuable orchestral experience working with some of the leading conductors of our time, including Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Georges Prêtre, Riccardo Chailly, Gustavo Dudamel, Daniel Harding, Lorin Maazel, and Semyon Bychkov.
Her extensive concert activity has since taken her to major concert halls such as the Musikverein Vienna, Munich’s Gasteig, the Salzburg Festival Hall, the KKL Lucerne, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, and the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. She has appeared as guest principal flute with ensembles including the Filarmonica della Scala and the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala under conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Valery Gergiev, David Afkham, Fabio Luisi, and Myung-Whun Chung.
She has also regularly appeared as guest principal flute with Teatro Regio Torino and Philharmonia Zürich under Gianandrea Noseda, the Bavarian State Opera under Constantinos Carydis and Kirill Petrenko, the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, Teatro Comunale di Bologna under Eliahu Inbal, Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.
She previously served as lecturer for orchestral studies at the Freiburg University of Music.
Since 2013, Alice Morzenti has been Principal Flute of the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg. Since 2018, she has served as lecturer for flute and orchestral studies at the Nuremberg University of Music.
From October 2023 until September 2025, she held the professorship for flute at the State University of Music Trossingen.
Beginning in October 2025, Alice Morzenti will assume the professorship for flute at the Nuremberg University of Music.
